Taking things in a new direction!

Ok, so I started this blog because I LOVE to read. Blog, Facebook page, Twitter, Instagram accounts, you name it I stared them all. All for the love of books and to meet like minded people that I could talk to about books. I was all gung-ho at the beginning, signing up for cover reveals and releases; recruiting people to help run this thing and then the unimaginable happened. I burned out. After like a month in a half. The more I thought about it the more I realized this wasn't how I wanted to do things. I just wanted a safe place to go an talk about books openly and honestly. I got wrapped up in a lot of the blogs I see out there and how I perceived a blog "should be run". 

F. That. Noise.

I'm gonna do this my way.

I hate writing reviews.

I just want to have conversations about books.

So, for the new year I'm doing a book challenge. There's about 50 books on this list. A few friends and I are going to buddy read. When we start a new book, I'll announce it here and if you want to join us please do. Once we're finished and have had our discussions I'll come back and give you my thoughts. Chime in whenever you want!
